Jason Oliver was named to his current position as Vice President & CEO, GE Additive in January 2018. In this role, he provides strategic direction and operational leadership to GE’s additive manufacturing ecosystem.
Jason joined GE from Dover Corporation. With more than 20 years of printing expertise, Jason is a printing zealot, who has spent his career commercializing digital equipment, consumables, software and services in the printing industry. He has started, sold and bought businesses and launched cutting-edge digital printers for three large publicly-held companies.
In 2003, Jason co-founded Jetrion, a digital label printer, which he sold in 2006, and then continued to market for EFI. In 2013, Jason joined Heidelberger Druckmaschinen GA as Senior Vice President, Digital Print Solutions where he developed and implemented the Heidelberg digital vision and driving its expansion into the inkjet market.
In 2016, Jason became president, Digital Printing Group for Dover Corporation to build an industry-leading digital printing business. He knows printing and has expertise in marrying software and hardware to provide comprehensive customer solutions.
Jason has a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Kansas and did post-graduate work at Universitaet Paderborn in Germany. He is fluent in English and German.
