Dan Janki is Senior Vice President,Business Transformation as of January 2018. In this role, Dan develops and manages GE’s strategy, financial models, analysis, and portfolio decision making. Dan works across business development and finance with the businesses to evaluate the long-term financial plan for the company.
Dan joined GE in 1992 as a member of the Financial Management Program (FMP) and rose through a succession of roles to become chief financial officer for GE Equity, a division of GE Capital. He then joined the GE Corporate team and played a key role in planning and executing the Genworth Financial IPO in 2003. Following, Dan served as chief financial officer for GE Consumer Finance, Americas, and in 2006 he became GE’s vice president of Corporate Investor Communications. From 2012 to 2014 Dan was CEO of GE Energy Management, GE’s electrical solutions business. Dan was appointed as Treasurer of GE in 2014 and given the added responsibility of overseeing Global Operations in 2017. In his time at GE, Dan has played an instrumental role in many deals, including the BHGE merger and the GE Capital Hubble transformation.
Dan graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in Finance and Accounting.
