Chris Drumgoole is Vice President and Chief Information Officer of GE as of July 2018. In this role he leads GE’s global information technology strategy, services, operations while setting the technology and digital strategy for the company. He is responsible for the successful operation of GE’s technology applications and systems globally while driving innovation and digital technologies to support GE and its customers. This includes ensuring the security, stability and safety of GE’s IT assets through leadership of the enterprise security team. His work allows GE to securely innovate, develop and run the applications that GE employees and customers rely on every day.
Chris joined GE from Verizon, where he served as Chief Operating Officer of Verizon’s Terremark subsidiary, a $1.3 billion cloud, hosting and data center provider. He joined Verizon through its acquisition of Terremark where held a number of roles and was a member of the executive leadership team.
Mr. Drumgoole has more than 20 years of experience in the digital and information technology industry. His work through the years has spanned numerous industries and global scale technology challenges including significant technology work with the US government. He studied Information Systems at Pace University in New York. Chris and his wife currently reside in Miami, Florida with their three children.
