The Estimation & Modeling capability specializes in the development of models for real-time use in controls, estimation, and optimization and the estimation of parameters or variables of those models using techniques such as Kalman filtering, particle filtering, and moving-horizon estimation. The models and estimators developed deliver value directly or enable other value-creating algorithms.
