Dr. Zhye Yin is a senior engineer in the Radiation Imaging Lab at GE Research. She has been working on medical and industrial CT algorithm development for more than 16 years, has 17 issued patents and has published 16 journal papers and 43 conference papers. Zhye's research experience includes (1) analytic and iterative reconstruction algorithm development with applications in cone-beam CT, multi-source inverse geometry CT, cardiac CT and dual energy CT, (2) system developments for low dose CT and (3) motion correction algorithm development (NIH grant with Cornell University). More recently, Zhye has been developing deep learning techniques for CT image quality assessment and for automated cell segmentation in pathology images.
