Dhaka, Bangladesh, November 3, 2019: GE Power (NYSE: GE) has signed the first-of-its kind multi-year maintenance contract with the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), to provide services and maintenance as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
The five-year contract includes the procurement of spares and services from GE for the scheduled maintenance of the two GE 6F.03 gas turbine units installed at the 225 MW combined-cycle gas-based power plant in the Bhola district of Bangladesh.
