GE's relationship with Malaysia began in 1975 with the first sales and service center, and it has grew ever since to an aircraft engine maintenance facility catering to the whole Asia, and a customer base that includes leading Malaysian companies such as TNB, Petronas, KTM, MAS, Air Asia, and local water authorities.

Singapore

GE presence in Singapore dates back to 1969 when GE opened electronic manufacturing plants, followed by an aircraft engine maintenance facility that services clients throughout the Asia Pacific basin. Today, GE works with local partners on Singapore's key infrastructure projects.

Thailand

GE has been active in Thailand since the 60s, initially focusing on aircraft engines and locomotives sales and service. Now GE is one of Thailand's largest foreign investors in the field of healthcare, financial services, and aviation.

Vietnam

GE was one of the first American companies established in Vietnam even before the US Embargo was lifted, when it established its first representative office in Hanoi in 1993. Today GE Vietnam Ltd, a 100% GE capital investment offers aftersales services in healthcare, electrical, and energy equipment. GE's investment in energy sector in a facility in Haiphong is part of its commitment as a partner of growth in Vietnam.
