Aziz Koleilat is President and CEO of GE Iraq and Levant.
Based in Dubai, UAE, Aziz is responsible for developing and leading GE’s growth strategy in Iraq and the Levant. He works closely with both internal and external stakeholders, government officials and customers to compliantly increase the GE footprint in his region and in building the talent bench to drive growth.
Aziz joined GE in 2006 as the Zone Sales Leader for GE Healthcare. Since then, he has held several managerial sales and marketing positions within the Healthcare business. In February 2009, Aziz was named as General Manager for GE Healthcare overseeing Middle East and Pakistan. In this leadership role he successfully led the expansion of the region’s footprint through a combination of partnerships, turnkey project strategy and a focus on customer satisfaction and compliance.
Prior to GE he was with Vietnam Airlines in Canada and with Johnson & Johnson in Czech Republic as well as the UAE.
Aziz holds an MBA from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
