The DLN 2.6+ Combustion System, GE’s latest upgrade of Dry Low NOx technology for our 9FA gas turbines, reduces nitrous oxide emissions 40%. The system’s built-in efficiencies during off-peak periods also save fuel, and plant operating costs while lowering overall CO2 emissions.
Near Milan, Italy, two of these systems generate enough power for over 1 million homes, exceeding the region's current environmental regulations with 40% less emissions.
