Manjaree joined her present role as General Counsel, South Asia for the GE Healthcare business in 2009 from Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) where she served as their General Counsel for India, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to that she was General Counsel, GE Plastics India till it was sold to SABIC. She was awarded the GE India President’s award for working to secure customs duty exemption to ensure GE Plastics remained competitive in the market. Earlier to that she was Counsel at GE Capital International Services supporting the US Healthcare and Plastics businesses. Manjaree began her legal career by interning in the chambers of a Sr. Counsel in the High Court of Punjab & Haryana, India and thereafter was associated with Dua Associates, a leading private law firm in New Delhi, India before joining GE.

Manjaree has over twenty years of work experience, the last ten of which have been with GE. During her time with GE, she has been associated with the GE Women’s Network in various capacities and is currently the Bangalore Hub leader where she helps to drive various diversity initiatives. She also led the GE Volunteers at GE Plastics driving programs to support a school for under privileged children. She continues to share her experiences with young law graduates on building a career in law.

A masters in English Literature and teaching at a prestigious university in North India, Manjaree made a mid-career shift to corporate law. She completed her Bachelor in Law (JD) from the Punjab University, India and was a Felix Scholar at the University of London where she graduated with a masters degree in Law with distinction.
