    You know, portable ultrasound for years has been a dream of many clinicians. They want to take the technology of ultrasound and take it to the patient bedside.

    Vscan will give the doctor an ability to quickly take a look at something inside the body. Today he can only feel or listen with a stethoscope. Vscan changes that.

    4D ultrasound has really helped us technologically move that miniaturization that was required to make 4D a reality, and we’ve leveraged that technology into our pocket-size Vscan device.

    Our target with Vscan is really to have a quick look into the body. We have designed it to be very easy to use. We have very few buttons on the device. When you open it up, it automatically goes into scanning mode.

    Vscan will change the way that doctors look at patients. He can see what is really going on, and that will make him much more confident in his diagnosis.

    We believe that Vscan is going to be used by a vast majority of physicians, whether that’s a cardiologist, or a primary care physician, or an emergency room in Africa. We really hope that this is going to truly change the way all physicians worldwide interact with their patients because of the ability to take a look and really understand what’s going inside the body and the immediacy right in your pocket.
