   I am in the field of nanochemistry these days,

2. Robert Colborn:

   which is a very exciting field, and I've had the opportunity this year

3. Robert Colborn:

   to look at a new form of carbon.

4. Robert Colborn:

   Everybody's pretty familiar with diamond and graphite,

5. Robert Colborn:

   and what I'm working on is a new form of carbon

6. Robert Colborn:

   which is like graphite, except that it's only one carbon atom thick,

7. Robert Colborn:

   and this gives you some really unique and exciting properties.

8. Robert Colborn:

   For example, we're looking at it as a way to take heat out of electronics--

9. Robert Colborn:

   you know, how your laptop gets hot--and this would be a way to dissipate that heat.
