   I work on robotics.

   Suppose you have a robot that needs to move down a hallway.

3. Chris Wynnyk:

   It needs to know there's a person, there's a plant, there's a wall.

4. Chris Wynnyk:

   Well, I write the software

5. Chris Wynnyk:

   that lets that robot see and understand the world.

6. Chris Wynnyk:

   It starts out as a statistics and optimization problem,

7. Chris Wynnyk:

   and then becomes lines of code.

8. Chris Wynnyk:

   And then there's a magical moment

9. Chris Wynnyk:

   when that robot comes to life,

10. Chris Wynnyk:

    when it seems to be thinking for itself,

11. Chris Wynnyk:

    and that's really exciting.

12. Chris Wynnyk:

    That's why I come to work.
