I am not able to upload the candidate/job seeker resume from Referring Portal View answer Close

We have recently started a new referral program called "Who Do You Know?". The GE employee no longer uploads the resume/cv for the person they are referring. They only fill in the contact information for the job seeker and then the system will then send out an email to the job seeker for them to complete the steps which includes uploading their own resume/cv. I am not able to check the Job submission status on my referral and the person that I referred is not able to check their status View answer Close

Neither GE Employees nor those referred are able to track the submission status of the Job they have applied for however you can view the status of the opening itself (open, closed, cancelled). If GE is interested in speaking further w/ the referred candidate, GE HR would contact them directly.

I encounter a problem while applying to a Job or the Webpage is not loading View answer Close

Please perform the below steps (steps may differ based on browser)

  1. Close all the browser windows
  2. Open a new browser.
  3. Click on "Tools" and then Click on "Internet Options"
  4. Under "General" tab you will see Browsing History there Click on Delete button
  5. Check the check boxes of “temporary Internet files”, “Cookies” and “History” and then click on Delete
  6. Click OK and OK again
  7. Close the browser and open a new window and then re-try

You may also go to File > New Session or Tools > InPrivate Browsing or try another browser (eg:Firefox, google chrome etc.)

If the job is still posted then please re-submit the referral and reach out to the person you referred to complete the remaining steps as soon as possible within 7 days. If the job is no longer posted, it is too late for this person to apply for this job.

I referred my friend for multiple jobs, but he/she did not hear back from GE Recruiters View answer Close

If the GE recruiter has an interest in pursuing the referred candidate, then GE HR would get in touch with the candidate. However all the candidates get an email when the Job is cancelled or when the resume/CV has been updated as to whether we will be pursuing them further or not.

Not all Jobs which are available in other websites are posted in Referral Gateway and available for employee referral payment. However, you may guide your friend to GE Careers but please note you will not be eligible for employee referral payment if they are hired http://jobs.gecareers.com/subscribe/?siteid=253&offsite=1&utm_source=GECareerSite

Please request the referral candidate to check the Spam/Junk Folder in their Email (Subject line of the email would be: You have been referred for employment by <>. Email would\'ve come from GEAutomationManager@brassring.com). If the system email is still not there, please re-submit your referral using the same or a different Email Address.
