Yoshiaki Fujimori serves as President and CEO of GE Japan Corporation. Fuji is also a Senior Vice President of GE and a member of the Corporate Executive Council.
Prior to this job, Fuji was Chairman, President and CEO of General Electric Japan and President and CEO of GE Money Asia.
Fuji began his career with GE in 1986 as Manager, Business Development of GE in Japan. He moved to Medical Systems Asia as Business Development Manager in 1988 and General Manager, Business Development of Yokogawa Medical Systems in1989.
In 1990, Fuji was appointed General Manager, Nuclear Business GE Medical Systems in Wisconsin, USA followed by General Manager, Global CT in 1993 and General Manager, Global MR in 1995.
Fuji was named Vice President of GE and appointed President and CEO, GE Medical Systems Asia in 1997.
From May 2001 to January 2003, he was President and CEO of GE Plastics and Senior Vice President of GE.
Prior to joining GE, Fuji was with Nissho Iwai Corporation in various positions in the Oil and Gas Development Division.
Fuji holds a bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon Graduate School of Business.
