GE Corporate Financial Services

Richard Laxer is President and CEO of GE Corporate Financial Services, GE's principal corporate lending and investing business. In this role, Mr. Laxer oversees 3,800 professionals and a portfolio of over $90 billion of investment and credit facilities for companies across North America and Europe. He is also a member of GE's Corporate Executive Council.

Mr. Laxer was previously President and CEO of GE Capital Solutions, providing leasing, financing and asset management operations in 30 countries with assets of more than $90 billion.

Prior to Capital Solutions, Mr. Laxer led GE Corporate Financial Services' London-based European business, providing leveraged and asset based financing including Europe's largest factoring program.

From 2001 to 2003, he was based in Tokyo running GE Real Estate's Asia Pacific activities. From 1991 to 2000, he held a variety of leadership positions at GE Real Estate including the Fund Capital Group, which he established.

Mr. Laxer began his GE career with the company's Financial Management Program and holds a B.S. in Business from Skidmore College.

Mr. Laxer is married and has two daughters.
