Charlene Begley is president and CEO of GE Home & Business Solutions and senior vice president and CIO for GE.

GE Home & Business Solutions is an $8.6B business that includes the business teams of Appliances & Lighting and Intelligent Platforms. These global businesses offer their customers energy efficiencies and productivity solutions through innovative appliances, lighting, embedded/control systems and software platforms.

As CIO, Begley is responsible for GE's Information Technology organization. She is co-leader for GE's Software Council, which focuses on crafting better customer solutions and services, as well as world-class manufacturing operations. Begley also leads GE's Sourcing Council.

Begley joined GE in 1988 and progressed through leadership roles including vice president, GE Corporate Audit Staff, and president and CEO for several GE businesses including GE FANUC Automation, Transportation, Plastics, and Enterprise Solutions.

Begley is a member of GE's Corporate Executive Council and the boards of Morpho Detection, Inc. and the National Association of Manufacturers.

Begley graduated from the University of Vermont. She and her husband have three daughters.
