The Hispanic Forum is a voluntary member organization whose mission is to attract, retain and develop Hispanic talent within GE. Founded in 1996 by a group of visionaries and pioneers, the Forum aims to increase the Hispanic talent pipeline and leadership penetration, further the company’s objectives by leveraging the members’ diverse backgrounds, and provide members with opportunities for personal and professional development.

Develop and Retain
Our vision is to develop and retain Hispanic talent in the company. We do that by working with the HF leadership both at the national and hub levels to share best practices and implement programs that increase the knowledge, skills, and engagement of our members. The ultimate goal is to foster an environment of learning and continuous improvement of performance and abilities.
Community Service
Our Community Service strategy focuses on making a positive difference in the Hispanic community with an emphasis on health and education. While allowing flexibility in local areas, we also focus on key national signature community service programs to drive more impact and employee engagement.
External Outreach
The Hispanic Forum's External Outreach Initiative is focused on increasing connectivity and communication with public officials and non-profit organizations. We accomplish this primarily through joint support of important community service initiatives and by working with public officials both in Washington DC and in their respective districts. The most recent activity in this area has focused on health and education initiatives, along with the 2010 Census.

Latin America is a natural extension of the GE Hispanic Forum. Being one of the fastest growing regions around the world with businesses and economies that are closely interconnected with the US, the Hispanic Forum works closely with the GE businesses across the region to ensure there is a proper flow and pipeline of talent to and from the region.
