GE’s VPP Success
GE is committed to the highest in health and safety standards. Our participation in the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) program is a key measure of how we're performing in this area.
Why OSHA?
OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) promotes effective worksite-based safety and health. Approval into VPP is OSHA's official recognition of the outstanding efforts of employers and employees who have achieved exemplary occupational safety and health. A Star Award is the highest level of recognition in VPP.
GE currently has more VPP Star certified sites (113) than any other company.
