In 2008, GE continued to focus on meeting its greenhouse gas (GHG) and energy use reduction goals, reducing GHG emission by 13 percent compared to 2004 levels.
GHG and energy intensity have been reduced by 41 percent and 37 percent, respectively, compared to 2004.
