2008 Commitment
- Provide summary of international education and public policy initiatives.
GE supports philanthropy and education for GE employees and retirees. Through the GE Foundation Matching Gifts Program, GE employees can donate to an eligible non-profit organization and GE Foundation will provide a dollar-for-dollar match. In addition, GE Foundation and GE employees support the United Way financially and through volunteer work. Further, GE STAR Awards are given to selected children of GE employees and retirees to recognize outstanding achievements and provide financial support for college.
