My Lan is responsible for growing GE’s presence in Vietnam and Cambodia and developing company – to – country strategies, driving GE’s commercial growth initiatives and enhancing GE’s image in the Vietnam and Cambodia market by working closely with GE business leaders, Vietnamese and Cambodian Government and Customers.
Prior to the nomination as CEO of GE in Vietnam in October 2007, My Lan held two positions as Market Development Director of GE in Vietnam and Deputy General Director of GE Vietnam Company Limited, the 100% GE investment company for Healthcare and Energy Services. This company has subsequently extended its business to GE Energy’s manufacturing project in Haiphong, Vietnam.
My Lan started her career as sales manager in several foreign companies and as commercial counselor for the US Commercial Service Department, US Embassy, in Hanoi to promote US-Vietnam trade relationship before joining GE in July 2003.
My Lan holds dual bachelor degrees in International Trade Law and Business Administration from Vietnam National Economics University and an MBA from Paramount University of Technology.
My Lan is married with two children.
