GE's risk management professionals have diverse responsibilities depending on their roles and the businesses in which they work. But in all cases, they directly impact our financial health. When you join GE's RMP, you'll work under the guidance of senior risk managers with expertise in consumer and commercial underwriting, portfolio management and analytics.
GE Capital offers consumers and businesses around the globe an array of financial products and services. The Risk Management Program (RMP) is a two-year program designed to build risk talent that is structured for high-achieving undergraduates possessing a strong quantitative and analytical background and a proven academic record. This comprehensive program consists of on-the-job experience gained through multiple rotations that provide an opportunity to work in real-life, real-time business environments.
Under the guidance of an assignment leader, RMPs will learn credit underwriting, portfolio management, workout and restructuring, risk analytics and regulatory aspects of risk management within GE Capital businesses while interacting with risk management leaders. The program provides successful RMP graduates with the strong foundation of skills they need to grow their risk careers and position themselves for future risk management leadership roles.
