The Plant Financial Leadership Program (PFLP) is a Program for people who have a proven track record of excellent academic performance, who want a career in finance and are interested in the manufacturing environment. The Program combines coursework, job assignments and interactive seminars to equip you with exceptional technical, financial and business skills.
The two-year entry-level program consists of technical finance training with three rotational assignments encompassing key areas of finance such as controllership, cost accounting and financial analysis. Assignments, lasting from six months to one year, take place in manufacturing locations across GE Energy where basic concepts of accounting are reviewed and GE practices learned. Instructional training occurs in areas such as cost accounting and financial decision making to prepare for upcoming assignments.
The program provides participants with opportunities to work with colleagues across businesses and from around the globe. PFLP provides visibility to senior level and business leaders while fostering personal development through mentoring and coaching. The typical rotation provides valuable contacts and experience that accelerate the development of financial, business, and leadership skills.
Openings for the PFLP program are currently filled. Please check back in February 2011 for available opportunities.
