Undergraduate Program: Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP)

Program Summary

  • EEDP is a two- to three-year entry-level program consisting of three or more rotational assignments. Rotational assignments are engineering projects driven by real GE business priorities. These assignments may include experience in: systems, analysis, design, quality, reliability, integration, and testing. The program cultivates technical problem-solving skills via advanced engineering coursework, formal reports and presentations to senior leadership, in addition to valuable work experience. Participants have the opportunity to earn credit towards an M.S. degree in engineering or other real world application technologies.

  • Leadership Opportunities

The EEDP program provides opportunities for the accelerated development of your technical and professional skills, and your career. It gives you the ability to make a measurable impact by working on vitally important projects. The program also provides contact with technical and business leaders who foster your personal development through coaching and mentoring. The varied rotational assignments allow you to contribute to different technical areas in just a few years.
