What made you want to join GE?

The vast opportunity to personally grow, expand my technical knowledge, and be a part of a new and growing organization dedicated to cyber security.

What excites you most about working at GE’s Information Security Technology Center?

The excitement of what we’re doing, the new things I know that I will learn every day and, most of all, working with the people that make it happen. The enthusiasm is contagious.

Where did you work before coming to GE?

Prior to GE, I managed the professional services and learning center for an enterprise software solution provider in the homebuilding industry.

How did your background/previous work experience prepare you for your current role?

Project management is the same in any industry. I did a little bit of everything in my previous role from being a project manager to customer support, to event planner to customer engagement to … you name it. The only thing I didn’t do was touch the source code. Being willing and able to do and try anything that would help the company kept me agile and gave me a broad view of how the company works.
