What were you doing before joining GE?

Prior to GE I was working as an Area Sales Manager. I joined GE in early 2007. Since then, every single day has been a great experience. My background and studies have helped me to get into the GE Water commercial team.

Why did you decide to join GE?

I always wanted to work with an organization that is most admired for its leadership and core values. The most fascinating thing about working in GE is that it offers a broad spectrum of opportunities across the globe. GE transforms you into a business leader by giving you the opportunity to work with diverse range of business and great leaders. In these 2.7 years I was able to experience different roles with high responsibilities coached by great leaders in the organization.

What are you working on now?

I am part of the commercial team working as a Sales Account Manager. In this role, I am responsible for driving growth and generating new accounts and to develop new and maintain current positions with key accounts. I work closely with the leadership to direct the efforts of cross-functional Customer Focus Teams in support of product and sales strategies to ensure the effective management of key accounts.

What has been most rewarding about your GE experience?

Meeting great talent everyday and understanding their style of working. I find people here are highly passionate about their job. It gives you a great feeling to become a part of great team of highly motivated individuals who definitely know how to transform their business into success. Last year, I was nominated for a leadership program. This program has changed my entire outlook towards life. It has taught me how great leaders do things differently that makes them successful in every walk of life. I believe this was my most rewarding experience with GE and am looking forward to more.
