I was a UX researcher, designer, and project manager at Siemens Corporate Research (SCR) for more than 7 years before joining GE Global Research and Global Software Center. HCI and UX-driven Innovation is always my passionate! Over the past 15 years, I was fortunate to have opportunities to dedicate myself into projects of such kind with a list of leading-edge organizations including: SCR, System Concepts Center @ Kodak, Philips Research Labs UK & Asia, and Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan.
I was fascinated by the vision of “Industrial Internet” and the opportunities of innovations that we can generate here to make the world a better place! The level of investment, commitment, and well thought plan for this vision from the top management was remarkable and exciting. Having a large group of TURE experts across the domains of HCI, CSCW, Social Media, and Mobile closely working together to connect smart technologies and create solutions for many of the most complex systems in use tomorrow, the possibilities are stunning – imagine that!
I am exploring complex systems and scenarios involving multi-users and multi-devices interactions, and ways to help operators making better and faster decisions along the line. In addition, I am looking into advanced user interfaces that could be brought into the equations in a most useful, meaningful, and innovative fashion.
Closely working with domain experts in cross-functional teams to generate innovative concepts and develop platforms, and collaborating with business partners to deliver integrated solutions and systems upon, to practically benefit our users, customers, and environments as a whole.
