I started my career out of college at Arthur Andersen & Co. (CPA's), then went to a medium-sized manufacturing firm as its assistant controller, then to GE in 1993.
Large company with lots of resources to develop my career and lots of opportunities for growth (both within the financial area that I started in at GE and outside of it - i.e., I've been in Quality for the past 9 years).
Projects to improve productivity, customer responsiveness, currently working on regulatory projects with the 'new' environment for financial service companies like GE Capital.
The great people I've met, the diversity of projects, the real interest management shows in helping you develop professionally, the great and generous resources that a large company like GE has.
