What were you doing before joining GE?

Immediately prior to joining GE's HRLP program, I attended graduate school to obtain my M.I.L.R and completed an internship with GE Aviation. Prior to attending graduate school, I worked for a non-profit organization in the Dominican Republic that aims to provide an quality education for children and also held various positions at the Frank Door Company, a cold storage door manufacturer owned by my family.

Why did you decide to join GE?

I decided to join GE for the opportunity to learn and grow. GE not only has renowned leadership development programs and a great reputation amongst HR professionals, but also a size and scope that allows for endless opportunities across multiple industries.

What are you working on?

I am currently working within our Staffing function to improve the overall process for salaried staffing in the United States. My goal is threefold - to make the process faster, to increase compliance, and to improve the experience of the stakeholders (i.e. candidates, hiring managers, and HRMs).

What has been most rewarding about your GE experience?

I find that the most rewarding part of my GE experience is the ability to enact change within my business, or perhaps better said, the opportunity to make a great company even better. I truly appreciate the ownership and opportunities given to me by the HR Leadership team at such an early stage in my career.
