What were you doing before joining GE?

Before joining GE as EEDP I worked in a Center of Research for another company in France. I had this great opportunity thanks to a one year scolarship offered by an Italian organization.

Why did you decide to join GE?

I like to work for a big company and I was given the chance to participate in the interviews for the new EEDP candidates. The EEDP program looked to me as a fantastic opportunity to join GE.

What are you working on?

I'm currently working in the IPL (Industrial Plant) Team, as a Process Engineering for GE Oil & Gas. Inside the IPL process team, the objective is working on process' basic design and on detailed engineering for Balance of Plant related subjects.

The aim of my daily work is to address activities related to process design by using the necessary tools, and at the same time carrying out specific engineering activities that are usually processed as engineers' everyday duties.

What has been most rewarding about your GE experience?

The EEDP program was a very challenging experience which gave me the opportunity to work in different roles during rotations. The structure of the program was very helpful to face many stressfull situations and to put myself to the test. During my last rotation I understood what I wanted to do and now that is my everyday work.
