What made you want to join GE?

GE is one of the top companies in the world with a rich history of great ideas, innovation, and success. Being associated with GE is a great honor.

What excites you most about working at GE’s Information Security Technology Center?

First and foremost, the Center is staffed with exceptional talent. The learning opportunities are limitless. This offers great appeal to me personally. Additionally, I believe the creation of the Center is an indicator of how seriously GE views the threat from cyber attack. Beyond “lip service,” this Center represents a commitment by GE to protect its businesses, intellectual property and other proprietary information. I am excited to be a part this team and contribute to that goal in any way I can.

Where did you work before coming to GE?

I retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation after nearly 25 years of service.

How did your background/previous work experience prepare you for your current role?

The majority of my career has been in the role of investigator. In that role, I have been responsible for a number of investigations, from simple bank robbery, to major organized crime matters. I think my investigative experience(s) might bring some different perspectives to our work here at the Center. I have also held a number of management positions while serving in the FBI. Through these positions, I have developed significant contacts within various government departments, foreign law enforcement and the private sector. In my current role, I hope to leverage those contacts to foster and strengthen relationships between GE, governmental agencies (FBI, DHS, DoD), other private sector companies, and even foreign governmental agencies and companies.
