Why did you decide to join GE?

GE has a great reputation of giving recent graduates unparalleled opportunities to start and build their careers. With such a diverse set of global businesses in which to work and such a development-focused culture in which to grow, GE seemed the perfect place to learn, to grow, to pursue new ideas and to work on projects that actually make a difference in the world.

What are you working on?

I recently joined the marketing/communications team for GE Capital Real Estate in Paris. Currently, communications are run on an ad hoc basis in the business. To vie for increased market share in an already competitive real estate marketplace, I am working with the team on taking a more proactive stance on building branding and communications in the key European Markets. This means that I will help with the development of a new communications strategy and recommend additional marketing communication tools and content as needs and resources are identified.

What has been most rewarding about your GE experience?

During my various rotations, GE has given me the opportunity to gain an enormous breath of knowledge and skills- not only on a professional level, but also on a personal one. CLDP has provided me with challenging environments across diverse businesses and cultures, exposure to experienced and professional teams across all levels, and continuous training. My experience has also shown me that communications in GE can make a significant impact and contribution to the company's growth.
