Why did you decide to join GE?

A big draw was knowing that GE builds products of significance. We create technologies that make our lives better. There's a lot of pride in that. Plus, GE's reputation for producing great leaders gave me confidence that I would receive the best training and biggest opportunities to grow as a communicator. And I was right!

What are you working on?

My final CLDP rotation brought me to our NYC office where I'm supporting GE's Digital Marketing team. I'm helping develop content for all our social media platforms in order to tell GE's story and build engaged, customer communities online. In addition, I'm supporting GE's "social listening" efforts around the world, so we can respond and react to conversations happening about the Company online in real-time.

What has been most rewarding about your GE experience?

My second rotation sent me abroad to work at our office in Brussels, Belgium. While the waffles were fantastic, working in Europe gave me the unique opportunity to see our operations abroad, including our Global Research Centre in Munich and participate in customer events such as the Paris Air Show. These experiences challenged me to tell our story in a new, exciting media environment that operates very differently than in the United States.
