The GE Appliances & Lighting Logistics Management Leadership (LMLP) program has been designed to accelerate the development of technical talent and build the skills that Program Members need to successfully integrate Supply Chain with other key processes in GE. It is for people who have a proven track record of excellent academic performance, who want a career in logistics and are interested in the manufacturing environment.

Program Summary

LMLP is an intensive 24 months program of four six-month rotational assignments. These assignments include coursework, significant professional responsibilities and interactive seminars to equip you with exceptional technical, financial, business and leadership skills. Rotations may include assignments in Manufacturing / Production, Supply Chain Management, and Distribution / Warehousing. The program is led by senior GE professionals who can serve as mentors as well as valuable contacts for growing your career.

Leadership Opportunities

The program gives participants the opportunity to make an impact on GE. It also provides participants with visibility to senior level technical and business leaders, while fostering personal development through mentoring and coaching. The rotational assignments provide valuable contacts and experience that accelerate the development of technical, business, and professional skills.

Candidate Criteria

  • University or college degree in Economics or Engineering (preferably specialization in Logistics)
  • No more than 2 years relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge and advanced experience using MS Office
  • Fluent English and Hungarian
  • Must be geographically mobile
  • Passion for and commitment to logistics and manufacturing/supply chain
