The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender & Ally (GLBTA) Alliance invests in cultivating the GE leaders of today and tomorrow. Dedicated to growing GLBT talent around the world, the Alliance is helping the company to build an inclusive, adaptable, and creative culture, well positioned to meet the ever-changing needs of the business environment.
The GLBTA Alliance was formed in 2005 and consists of multiple geographic and virtual chapters in more than 18 countries and well over 100 cities around the globe. The chapters sponsor professional development, networking, and educational events providing members a unique opportunity to meet and share ideas with senior leaders. Chapters also participate in community service and volunteer events, enhancing GE’s reputation as an employer of choice in, and providing service to, local GLBTA communities.
Each year the Alliance hosts a global meeting where high-potential, GLBTA employees come together for a series of workshops, panels and events designed to build professional skills and broaden exposure to senior leadership.
