The premier finance graduate program of its kind and the first step to a successful business career at GE.

We hire and develop exceptional finance professionals to drive our high levels of global success. The FMP is an intensive two-year program that combines challenging job assignments with coursework and interactive seminars to equip Program participants with exceptional financial and leadership skills. These skills along with highly valuable networking opportunities prepare you for future financial leadership positions within GE.

Program Summary

  • An intensive 2-year program spanning two rotational assignments in two different GE businesses
  • Hands-on experience may include routine responsibilities to project work in areas such as accounting, financial planning and analysis, operations analysis, sales and marketing analysis, and Six Sigma quality and involve interaction with high-level management and exposure to other functions
  • Coursework includes four graded financial courses taught by GE professionals, an interactive leadership seminar and Six Sigma training
  • Led by senior GE professionals/mentors
  • The first step to a successful finance career with GE


Candidate Criteria

  • Excellent academic record (minimum 3.0 GPA overall)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Relevant internships and/or degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics preferred
  • Geographically mobile and flexible
