Hisham Albahkali is the President and CEO of GE Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Based in Riyadh, Hisham is responsible for leading the Company’s operations in the Kingdom and Bahrain, accelerating growth and exploring further opportunities for broadening public private partnerships in the region.
Hisham started his career with the Company in 1997 as a Customer Service Manager for GE Energy, and since then has held a number of leadership roles within the business. Most recently, Hisham was CEO for GE Energy in Saudi Arabia.
Throughout his tenure with GE, Hisham has been focused on leading and driving the Company’s commercial and operational strategy in Saudi Arabia by creating, communicating and executing on growth plans; identifying and developing new business opportunities; creating a growth culture; building capacity and capability; and building relationships with key customers and the government.
Before joining GE, Hisham started his career in 1990 with leading telecommunications companies working with the Saudi Ministry of PTT in Operations and Data Lines Customer Services.
Hisham holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Technology (1994) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (1990) from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
