Country Executive & Growth Leader Benelux
In June 2011, Roland Teixeira was named Country Executive, Benelux and Growth Leader for GE’s activities in the region.
In this role, he is responsible for leading GE’s regional strategy “Growth By Co-Generation” aimed at bringing together partners, stakeholders, and GE businesses, to solve key challenges.
Responsible for GE’s Rotterdam Sustainable City project, Roland Teixeira has been developing GE’s impact in the Benelux port/city environment, growing “Thought Leadership”, launching pilot projects and GE's Green Ports Commercial Excellence Center. Roland Teixeira is head of Global Growth & Operations.
Prior to this role, since 2008, Roland Teixeira served as Director of GE’s operations in the Benelux and led an impactful initiative for EMEA State & Local Tax.
Roland Teixeira joined GE in 2003 bringing over 15 years of international business experience, spanning Europe and Asia. Roland Teixeira, a chartered surveyor, member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, complemented his academic background with a Real Estate Executive Program from Solvay Brussels School in Belgium.
Roland Teixeira chairs GE’s Benelux Board and AMCHAM Rotterdam Chapter, and is a board member of the following organizations: GE & POR’s Innovation Group, GE Volunteers Belgium, IPTI, International Corporate Advisory Group, RICS Rating Panel and GE Europe NV; Roland Teixeira was a board member of Corenet Benelux, BCCT and the European Council for Commerce & Trade Taiwan.
Roland is 44 and splits his time between Rotterdam and Brussels.
