[[Narrator] Hi guys, this is Tom Brisken, who is the General Manager for the GEnx project.]

[He is here today at the Paris air show and is going to tell us a little bit about his perspective]

[on the unveiling of the GEnx.]

[Tom, how do you think it went?]

[[Tom Brisken] Brian, it was fantastic to see David Joyce ]

[up here talking about the GEnx product, and unveiling it with the Rolling Stones music]

[going on to gather the crowd. ]

[It was just fantastic.]

[The place was abuzz with the lights flashing, and the curtain was drawn back,]

[and the flag was green, and it resonated really well with the crowd. ]

[What was really neat is after David was done and the curtain was drawn ]

[you expected everyone to just go away, but they didn't. ]

[They all went and they walked up to the engine. They talked and took pictures.]

[I was so proud of all the folks who have been working on this engine]

[and they represent I think about 1,500 engineers at Evendale and GE,]

[plus probably an equal number around the world.]

[There are 7 partners. ]

[And what a fantastic day it is for everybody, and I was just so proud to be one here]

[that could soak it all in, and I just hope I can share a little bit of my excitement with you all]

[and thanks everything, for all you've done.]

[[Brian] That's fantastic. In all the years that you've been coming to the Paris air show,]

[how does this one stack up so far?]

[[Tom Brisken] It couldn't be any better. Other than the crappy rain we're having ]

[here in Paris, it's actually very exciting to see the culmination of all the work ]

[that was done here on GEnx since 2003.]

[It couldn't be any better than this.]

[[Brian] Thank you very much, Tom. This is great, thanks. ]
