[GE is delighted to make further investments in the province of British Columbia,]
[particularly with Plutonic Power, as we stand here today on the hydro project.]
[As we look around the globe from General Electric's perspective,]
[hard-pressed to find another area globally that would generate 90% of its power]
[that comes from green or renewable sources. ]
[We here at GE are also very proud of our partner Plutonic, and the fact that they are]
[on a track to become a preeminent green energy company in this province.]
[For our part, GE, we're delighted that this project is helping us meet our goal.]
[We set a very aggressive goal and investing $4 billion in renewable power]
[The investment aligns us well with our corporate initiative of ecomagination.]
[Ecomagination--it's a corporate initiative that GE has undertaken.]
[It allows us to work with our partners, companies like Plutonic, ]
[in helping them realize their goals of dealing with environmentally sensitive projects.]
[At GE we like to say green is green.]
[We think green is a tremendous strategy to move forward with our shareholders.]
[It makes sense for us as a business to pursue projects like this,]
[but green also, it means more in this setting. ]
[I stand in this valley; I'm surrounded by tremendous beauty in the green,]
[and knowing that this project and investment that we're helping, and we're part of,]
[is going to allow this to continue.]
[I am absolutely delighted to be part of that.]
[We've got fantastic partners, and I couldn't be happier than to be here today.]
