[Good morning again, guys. ]

[This is Saturday at the air show, again at the GE booth.]

[You can start to see that a lot of things are coming together.]

[I'll just give you a quick tour.]

[We've got the glass polished on a lot of the displays.]

[We've got the F136 model put in place,]

[and the folks on the simulators still have a little bit of work to do, but it's coming along real well.]

[We're hoping to bring you some of the simulator details in just a few minutes.]

[I want to show you some of the other stuff that we've gotten finished so far.]

[So around here you can see the graphics on the window are complete.]

[We've got all of the logos, ]

[and all the messaging on the outside of the stand is complete.]

[Here's the CMC display that we have for the ceramic matrix composites.]

[This is a turbine vane, and we're showing off the low density,]

[the low weight, high temperature capability of this product.]

[And here is some of the other messaging]

[and our 16-screen television that's up and running, ]

[showing all the movies and all the video that we've got going on.]

[Really clear, really great quality video there.]

[We've got touch screens here that walk everybody through ]

[all of the different features of the airplanes.]

[So you can go ahead and look at something like the GEnx,]

[and it'll show you all the... [male speaker on video] ...next generation of long range aircraft.]

[The GEnx is the most advanced commercial turbofan...]

[[narrator] It's really cool. It's coming together nicely.]

[Here's Aviation Systems talking to Aviation International News]

[about the simulator.]

[They're showing how it works and showing all the functionalities. Pretty cool stuff.]

[Hi, I'm Frederic Daubas. I'm the Chief Marketing Officer for Aviation Systems.]

[This is a beautiful simulator that a team from Cheltenham and Grand Rapids built together.]

[The folks who did it will explain to you how it works.]

[Hi, I'm Simon Edwards from Cheltenham, England.]

[We worked on the display units and also the system integration.]

[I'll pass you over to...]

[I'm Bob Taylor from Grand Rapids.]

[Me and my team worked on the simulation that's going to run in the aircraft]

[in the background here.]

[[narrator] All right. So how does this thing work?]

[We have a piece of software called FlightMan from Workstation,]

[which was developed by GE in Grand Rapids,]

[and that simulates a Boeing 737.]

[And then we have connectors that are a real flight management system,]

[and these MCDUs which are also directly from the plane.]

[And, along with that, we have this real instrument standby system]

[which allows the pilot to fly without his main displays]

[and these large area displays which have 15.4 widescreen formats.]

[And this all ties in with Microsoft Flight Simulator]

[to display the outside world graphics.]

[And over to your left you have Google Earth.]

[Now, as you can see on the right-hand side, we've got fuel savings from our FMS]

[and the RNP approach compared to a traditional approach.]

[And you can see the trajectory maps in green of our approach.]

[And that's pretty much it.]

[Well, I hope that gave you guys an appreciation for what the booth's going to look like]

[and some of the features we've got going on.]

[It's Sunday afternoon now, so we are wrapping up our weekend.]

[And we'll be ready for the GEnx unveiling on Monday and we'll bring some of that to you too.]

[So take it easy. I'll talk to you guys soon. Bye-bye.]
