[Hello, everybody.]

[My name is Brian Pfeiffer, and I work in the GEnx Project.]

[As you can see, I'm in Paris, France at the craziness that is the Arc de Triomphe.]

[And as fun as the sightseeing is, that's not why I'm here.]

[I'm here for the 2009 Paris Air Show.]

[Among many other things, GE Aviation is going to be unveiling the GEnx,]

[and I'm here to be the technical advisor for that.]

[But this is my first time at the Paris Air Show,]

[and what I'd like to do is take you guys with me behind the scenes]

[so that we can both learn together what kind of effort and hard work it takes]

[to make this show so exciting and so successful every year.]

[We've got so much stuff to do before Monday. ]

[Come on. Let's go take a look.]

[Hey, guys. Here I am at the air show.]

[It's Friday morning, and people are just kind of getting ready and getting started.]

[And as you can see, there is a lot still to do.]

[We've got two days to get everything done and ready for Monday morning.]

[And so you'll get to see how all this comes together.]

[Here is the systems simulator a couple days before it's actually ready]

[to turn on and get going.]

[You can see the back end of the GEnx over there still bagged up,]

[getting ready to be put on display.]

[Here we are at the GE booth,]

[and as you can see, we're right next to our friends at CFM.]

[This is us walking back to the GE booth,]

[and you can see along the way all the stuff that's going on to get the show ready,]

[all the people working.]

[Here's a little bit of the Airbus A350 fuselage that's going to be up there.]

[Again, a lot of work still to be done.]

[So throughout the weekend we're going to keep bringing you different pictures of the show,]

[see how it's progressing as time goes along,]

[and by Monday morning, we should be ready to go. ]

[We'll talk to you guys soon. Bye.]
