[[Magdalena Nizik - GE EDC Managing Director] We are now in Warsaw, Poland, ]
[celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Engineering Design Center. ]
[It as created in 2000 on the agreement between GE and Warsaw Aviation.]
[It is a public research institute that was created back in 1926 ]
[What back there started as a group of 20 engineers ]
[working mainly on the aviation product,]
[has evolved to be employing 900 world class specialists working for aviation, ]
[energy, and oil, and gas applications. ]
[[Jeffrey R. Immelt - Chairman and CEO of GE] We've made big investments in Poland.]
[Almost every part of GE is in Poland in some way.]
[We've got the Engineering Centers; we've got factories.]
[We've got more than 10,000 employees in Poland. ]
[We've got this engineering center. ]
[We're committed to the Center. We're committed to Poland. ]
[This has been one of the stronger economies during the crisis. ]
[It still has challenges, but if we've got faith that the government knows how]
[how to solve the problems and continue to make progress as we go through ]
[these times, so we will continue to be a big investor in Poland in the future ]
[and in central Europe as well. ]

[EDC is a great set of engineers.]
[We're in our 10th year now, and the EDC engineers have grown to a point ]
[where they're instrumental in us achieving all of our objectives in engineering. ]
