[and I'm the Access GE leader for GE Capital.]

[Access GE is a unique program that lets us work with our customers]

[on their most pressing business issues.]

[It's about giving our customers access to the broad and deep resources]

[and expertise across and within GE.]

[The rationale for the business is simple.]

[If we can help our customers get better,]

[they can grow faster,]

[and in turn, we have more opportunities as GE Capital to finance that growth.]

[We're here with Tourneau, one of our longstanding customers]

[who recently experienced an Access GE engagement around innovation.]

[Hi. My name is Andrew Block. [Andrew Block, Tourneau LLC]]

[I'm the executive vice president of Tourneau.]

[Tourneau is the world's largest watch store.]

[You're standing in a Tourneau time machine.]

[It's a 16,000 square foot watch store with 100 brands and about 8,000 styles.]

[GE has been associated with Tourneau for many years.]

[We've worked with GE Commercial Lending.]

[We also work with GE Money for our private label credit card business.]

[We had a wonderful experience with GE and their Access GE program.]

[We approached GE with a unique problem.]

[We're a luxury retailer, and luxury retailers traditionally don't advertise we're on sale.]

[The consumer expects this year to be a value-oriented holiday season.]

[It took a daylong process to bring ideas that were at the tip of everybody's tongue out]

[that we will now implement that won't say we're on sale]

[but they're promotional in nature that will help ring the register.]

[One of the areas of our business that seems to be thriving right now is service.]

[Bring in your old watch to be fixed.]

[So to bring traffic in and to sort of raise the bar a little bit,]

[we put a 20% off all service, sales, accessories offer on our website.]

[That we did immediately, and we've already seen quite a big response from it.]

[My impression of Access GE is one of great respect and admiration.]

[The process worked.]

[We got short-term actionable ideas and long-term actionable ideas.]

[So it was a terrific process that I would recommend to anyone to do again]

[for any issue, small or large.]
