[My name's Austin Schaffter, and we are very excited about the EPS Center.]
[Less than--well, a little bit over a year ago, we had a dream]
[that we were going to do some kind of research facility somewhere in the world,]
[and we ended up teaming up with UDRI to do this in the state of Ohio,]
[The research facility is going to be dedicated to electric power]
[and all things electric power. And that's why it's a fitting venue to do it here,]
[to make this announcement here, because of electric power in aviation.]
[Replacing electric power in airplanes is not--or, installing electric power in airplanes--]
[is not just replacing hydraulics and pneumatics and and tubes and ducting and putting wires in.]
[There is a systems effort here. And understanding the interaction of the systems]
[and the things that it does to what has been a very stable electrical power plus on an aircraft]
[in the past--and that's what the EPS Center is meant to do. ]
[It is meant to explore those interactions, to develop unique and world-class systems]
[and to drive GE Electric power to the forefront of the technology and the industry.]
[So as the dawn of electric power has taught us, GE is going to be part of that]
[in every way that we can, and the EPS Center figures prominently in that.]
