Rich Overholtzer had just been released from the Navy in the mid 1950’s, when he took a job with GE. One afternoon, as he worked in his cubicle, he got a special visit from Ronald Reagan. Mr. Overholtzer worked at GE for over 30 years.

In 1958, Ralph Garbutt, a retiree of the GE Housewares division, met Ronald Reagan in a hotel dining room, during a pounding New England blizzard.
