[I work in the assembly testing overhaul COE, and this is day one at Oshkosh]
[at the GE Honda Aero Engines booth.]
[This is a prototype of the engine that GE and Honda are developing.]
[It's powered very like jet market, 2000 pounds of thrust,]
[5000 hour TBO, which is remarkable for this class of engine.]
[This is the two launch customers for the Honda engine.]
[6 passenger, very fast, very light jet airplane--very cool.]
[This is the Spectrum Freedom Jet--very unique all-composite construction,]
[very much a game-changer in the small jet industry.]
[A couple of unique features about this engine is that it's got a blisk fan--]
[a little bit unique for this type of engine,]
[a 3-to-1 bypass ratio, and a centrifugal high pressure compressor,]
[and pointing out some of the unique things about it--]
[the annular combustor with a unique counterflow--air comes through here,]
[ignites inside the combustor cell and it comes out through the high pressured turbine,]
[low pressure turbine, out through the tail cover.]
[An F120 engine's going to be built at a new facility in Burlington, North Carolina.]
