[Hi, I'm John Dineen, CEO of GE Healthcare,]

[and I'm here today at our healthymagination site]

[in New York City.]

[We've got a busy week and a half here in New York,.]

[Yesterday, we had the board of directors.]

[Today we'll have the analysts.]

[We're going to have a healthymagination board, a CXO summit for the hospitals. ]

[We'll have customers coming through, ]

[patient groups, focus groups.]

[We're going to have specific technology demonstrations]

[like homehealth. ]

[So the entire business is going to be very busy]

[bringing healthymagination out to the public. ]

[We've been talking about healthymagination for a long time,]

[and here we're making it real. ]

[We created a forum where people can touch]

[and understand the technologies,]

[be it ultrasound technologies for ]

[our healthcare IT technologies, ]

[or the molecular diagnostic technologies]

[that we think are going to help change healthcare. ]

[Healthcare is a huge global problem.]

[It's a huge infrastructure problem. ]

[And we are very well positioned as a company]

[to help solve that problem. ]

[We think it breaks down to quality, cost, and access,]

[and we are developing, and have developed, technologies]

[that can address every one of those variables. ]

[And again, we're going to allow people to come here ]

[today to see and touch the ]

[technologies that we think are at the core of healthymagination.]

[We're going to have the analysts in today and we're going to show ]

[them a couple of things. ]

[One is that the healthcare industry is a great industry. ]

[When you look at the global]

[buildout in healthcare, when you look out ]

[at the explosion and chronic disease]

[that is coming, when you look out ]

[at the demographics, the fact that people are living]

[longer, getting older, you understand that healthcare]

[is a big challenge. ]

[And it's not simply about payment reform]

[or access, it's about]

[really trying to make healthcare more productive-- ]

[wellness, chronic care management, ]

[solutions for hospitals, ]

[better technologies for identifying diseases]

[like molecular imaging.]

[We want the analysts to understand that we've got a]

[fabulous portfolio that can address the real underlying issues]

[around healthcare. ]

[So they're going to see some businesses that represent a fabulous]

[portfolio for the new world--]

[businesses like healthcare systems, molecular imaging, life sciences]

[and healthcare IT.]

[They're going to see that we're developing very strong technologies in all of those businesses. ]

[We are setting this business up to perform, ]

[not just in the short and medium-term, but in the long-term. ]

[And I think by listening to the leadership team]

[and by actually seeing some of these technologies, ]

[they're going to walk away feeling much better about our business and our future. ]
