[If someone came to me now and said that I was just diagnosed, ]
[I would say it's really going to be okay. ]
[There's hope. There's so much hope. Just hold on to the hope. ]
[You can make it. You'll be okay.]

[It's not fatal for everybody. ]
[Get informed. Get involved. ]
[Get your treatment, and then join the rest of us in the fight. ]
[It's actually been a positive experience. ]
[I look back and think, "Oh gosh, I could write a book on this]

[I just have so much to be thankful for. ]
[I'm more grateful for the people around me]

[I had no idea I had so many friends until the cards started coming. ]
[And it was just wonderful to see people reaching out and caring so much. ]
[Sometimes when I'm off the line and I get the opportunity]
[to be in a different little area where I'm kind of off to myself, I dance. ]
[And they say, "Look at her. She's over there dancing."]
[But if I have the chance to sit it out or dance, I think I'll dance. ]
